About us

An independent guide to UK-facing casinos

Abbey Game Table exists to make a confusing market a little easier to read. We compare a small set of UK-facing online casino brands and write plain, balanced notes about each one.

Who the site is for

We write for adults in the UK who already know they want to play and simply want a clearer view before they choose where. That means fewer brands, more detail, and a focus on the practical things — how readable the terms are, how the cashier works, and whether the safer-gambling tools are easy to reach.

We are not here to talk anyone into gambling. If you are not sure whether to play at all, the honest answer is to keep your money in your pocket and read our responsible gambling page first.

How the comparison works

Each edition features a small, rotating selection of GB-facing operators. We work through each site, write a summary against the same seven checks, and give a single editorial score out of ten. The order brands appear in is a reading order, not a league table — you can read the full method in our Editorial Review Policy.

When you pick an operator you leave Abbey Game Table entirely. From that point you are dealing with a licensed gambling company under its own terms. We do not run games, take deposits, hold balances, manage accounts or pay out anything.

How affiliate funding works

The site is free to read because some of the outbound links to operators are affiliate links. If you follow one and later register an account, the operator may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra, and the brand's offer is the same as if you had arrived any other way.

We keep that commercial side separate from the editorial side on purpose. A partnership does not raise a score, change the wording of a review or move a brand up the page. The detail is set out in our Affiliate Disclosure.

What we are not

We are not a casino, not a betting operator and not a regulator. We are not owned by any of the brands we cover and we do not speak on their behalf. For licensing questions, the Gambling Commission is the authority — always confirm an operator's current licence there before you deposit.
